Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings. I. [Brother] Darty, would like to disseminate important information to you as individuals, as well as a collective community. This is my plan to bridge the divides of racism. discrimination, and prejudice that society has created against God's will. People must unite as one human race. Learned behavior that results in dividing human beings into different groups of people, with some superior to others, needs to be rectified so we all view and treat each other as equals.
What we hear about so much in the media as problems endemic to urban communities, such as crime, unjust law enforcement actions, government suppression of fairness and overzealous prosecution, are in fact symptoms of society's ills. These symptoms that have eroded our universal value systems are rooted in sin.
Sin is defined as missing the mark of God's standard and offenses against God's holy law. Starting in early childhood, everyone forms their own idea of what constitutes Good and Evil. While our overall general concepts may be similar, in fact no two people hold exactly the same standard. People set up personal measurements of good that they can live up to and a standard of evil that does not include their activities. The drunkard says at least he doesn't steal. The one who cheats in business says he may not always be honest but he's not a murderer.
People congratulate themselves for not committing the evil acts that others do while overlooking their own sins. Our society does not judge by one fixed standard of right and wrong. We adopt guidelines that tolerate some personal belief systems but condemn others.
We all need forgiveness, both by God and each other (see James 2: 8-13). We must learn how to love people who raped family members, killed a child, stole dreams through criminal behavior, or falsely imprisoned people. Underneath every human argument of morality, is the fact that every person's sin is what Jesus died for on the cross. We all fall short of God's standards although He keeps us in His grace. (John 3:16).

It is said that proper preparation prevents poor performance. We urgently need more preparation in the form of counseling and therapeutic intervention to help us get to the root of our sinful acts. We must learn why some people show judiciousness and fair judgment, while others show bias, especially against people classified as poor, so we can set about unlearning this dysfunctional behavior and mindset.
For instance, people should examine why they hate police officers. At the same time, law enforcement officers must examine the reasons for their own behavior. What needs to change so that police don't think most black people are criminals? Why do the majority of African-Americans think Caucasians and law enforcement are crooked? These negative, generalized beliefs result from individuals' distinct experiences in life and society. Beliefs must be viewed as a consequence of personal trauma. This trauma must be dealt with honestly in order to effect change. People must be shown how to separate their past ordeals from their future interactions. That is the key to rehabilitation.
The fact is we all have flaws and character defects. Let's not be so Judgmental, wishing pain on someone or seeking to do harm to people's lives. We must be quicker to help rather than hurt others.
Those of us who are in jail or prison, don't put down law enforcement or the court system because we have been subject to unfair process, but pick up the men and women who serve in these institutions in our prayers. We can mentor at-risk youth and others who make it hard for those to carry out their duty to serve and protect. Get involved with "all lives matter" and display your personal rehabilitation from your dysfunctional and traumatic childhoods as living proof that effective change can be achieved.
Three elements that can never be separated: love, God and mercy. We all benefit if we boycott intentional wickedness and learn how to live together and love one another. I will leave you with these words: a divided country will bring desolation and will not stand.
Shalom to our destiny, brother Darty.

A Six-Point Plan
- Realignment in Education
Starting with preschool, educational curriculums should be God-based and include
teachings on family, marriage, abuse, addictions, emotional problems, prejudice, crime, prison, and sin.
- Readjustment of Criminal Laws
Criminal cases should be evaluated for their individual circumstances, not under a generalized doctrine. Sentencing enhancements should be replaced with programs to monitor gang members and use of weapons by criminals. Sentences should take into account data about habitual offenses. If a person continues to commit offenses, they must be subject to stricter and longer parole/probation terms. Convicted felons must graduate from rehabilitative programs and complete an extended period with no rule violations before returning to society. If they achieve no progress during their incarceration, they should be treated as having a sentence under the habitual criminal act. Gang crimes must be treated more severely when they are proven to be gang-related, not simply on the suspicion of being gang-related. Every law enforcement officer must wear body cameras while on duty.
- Extension of Law Enforcement Training
Law enforcement officer candidates must undergo background checks, polygraph testing and probationary periods and be educated on the meaning of "serve and protect" and security risk data. There must be no defunding of any type of law enforcement/correctional officer in the field. Those who risk their lives daily in their jobs should not be taken for granted. Other law enforcement who occupy less risky jobs, such as polygraph testers, should be defunded.
- Increased Accountability for Law Enforcement and Government Agents
People who serve in positions of authority must be held to a higher standard, especially when the life of another human being is in the balance. No more immunity for transgressions should be granted. Everyone must be held accountable for their actions, just as others who do not possess badges and uniforms. Additionally, law enforcement must be provided with adequate counseling.
- Jury Realignment
Stricter requirements about eligibility for jurors must be enacted. Juries should include college students, particularly law students, healthcare workers and faith-based participants. Juror deliberations and conversations in the jury room must be recorded. Jury empanelment should be overseen to investigate jury fixing, bribery and nullification before starting any deliberations with grants of immunity for whistleblowers. Extensive background checks should also be conducted.
- Improved Healthcare Programs
New medical insurance programs should be developed to cover the entire population.
These should be based on job benefits, parenting data, child support claims, and welfare data. For people in jail/prison or on probation/parole, better medical treatment must be provided, including better doctors and improved access to physical and mental health services,
Thanks ...
