I am a certified paralegal serving a life without parole sentence in the federal system. I have been incarcerated for twenty (20) straight years on Racketeering and drug crimes. In addition to the twenty years of incarceration, I have been studying and practicing federal law throughout this time period.


Well, I was writing you to ask about joining the Jailhouse Lawyer Initiative. I wanted to know how do I start the process? In addition, a friend of mine told me that your group has a pen pal program where jailhouse lawyers, as me, write or email back and forth with lawyers or law students. I wanted to be a part of this program also.


Therefore, could you send me the necessary information and paperwork to be a part of this initiative? With that being said, I'm going to let you go.
